Created by Gaëlle Gabillet and Stéphane Villard, this object is at the crossroads of lamp and furniture. It serves as a display but acts like a lamp.
“Objet curiosité” is part of the project "{objet} trou noir". It is a partially shaded glass dome equipped with a light bulb set on a black wood base. The surrealist atmosphere created by the dome and the light will vary with the object displayed. The light bulb looks like a little sun, highlighting the structure of the material on display. It's almost like you created your own little world.
