It is
not every day that barware is reinvented.
The main obstacle in redesigning glasses is to shake up the conventions
more than necessary. There is almost a social code around glasses. Long skinny
glass for champagne, triangular for a classic martini etc.
Designer
Alissia Melka-Teichroew created a new collection of barware that ingeniously
presents a perfectly smooth surface, shaped like a truncated cone. The classic
shape of the glass is to be found on the inner wall, revealed when the vessel
is filled: new shape, no loss of references.
Not
only do these glasses look great but because of their double wall, they will
keep your drink cooler.
